Traditional training for innovation and creativity is cumbersome takes FAR TOO LONG.

But these insider secrets start getting you results within just 2 hours and can be learned anywhere, anytime!

Back in 2013, I set out on my journey to help companies build their innovation and creativity capabilities.

After all, you and I both know how important innovation and creativity are for growth, not only now but in the future.

The statistics highlight just how vital it is to keep developing these core skills:

  • Creativity will become the #3 most important skill in the workforce by 2020 (Source: World Economic Forum)
  • 94% of leaders think that people and culture are the most important drivers of innovation, but only 35% of them are confident in their innovation decisions (Source: McKinsey survey of 600 business leaders)
  • Creativity is listed as the #1 capability businesses need to navigate an increasingly complex world (Source: IBM survey of 1,500 CEOs)
  • 96% of innovations fail to return their investment (Source: Doblin study of thousands of innovations)
  • Over 59% of people feel they are NOT creative, and less than 1/3 people feel they are living up to their creative potential (Source: Adobe survey of 5,000+ people)
  • Average creativity scores for the total population have been falling since 1990! (Source: Study of 300,000 people’s creativity scores)

I wanted to create the best training on the subjects in the world, so I looked at what most innovation and creativity training included.

And what I found shocked me.

Most “innovation” and “creativity” training and workshops (even the most expensive ones) don’t actually produce any tangible results!

They usually fall into two types:

  • Motivational “teambuilding” sessions, where a speaker will tell you how creative visionaries like Steve Jobs or Albert Einstein overcame obstacles to change the world (without giving you any advice on how you can do this in addition to your day job)
  • Brainstorming sessions, where a facilitator will help you fill an entire wall with post it notes of “Great Ideas!” (but then disappear when it comes to trying to execute any of them)
brainstorm does NOT produce results

Not only that, but the traditional way of running these training workshops is completely outdated, is a logistical nightmare, and sometimes even harms business performance.

Problems with traditional training methods:

  • The logistical nightmare of trying to get time in people’s diaries for a workshop (especially senior leadership)
  • The cost of bringing in a private facilitator (often costing thousands of dollars per day)
  • Attendees being disengaged, and constantly distracted by their phones and email
  • The cost of booking travel, venue and hotels for multiple people (not to mention the time spent booking)
  • Trying to write a business case for why the company should invest this much money into one day's training, and being asked "What is the Return On Investment?"
  • THE FACT THAT AFTER THE TRAINING WAS OVER, PEOPLE WERE TOLD TO JUST GET BACK TO DOING THEIR WORK LIKE THEY DID BEFORE

In my professional opinion, this just wasn’t good enough.

I wanted to find out what actually making a successful difference to building the capability to not only generate breakthrough ideas, but execute those ideas into innovations and manage the process effectively.

So I contacted more than 50 of the world’s leading experts on creativity and innovation, asking them to share their Insider Secrets on what makes a difference to building innovation and creative capabilities.

Testimonials: What are customers saying?

First off, let me tell you I am overwhelmed at amount of valuable information and insight that was presented. Every video I've seen completely resonated with what we are seeing in our innovation efforts. I and a few others purchased All-Access passes and I encouraged others to do so on their own nickel - and chock it up to personal growth and development. Keeping the conversation moving and visible is critical to the corporate DNA modification.

I loved your fantastic “highlights” wrap-up of all of the sessions. The fact that you are letting us share that with others is the perfect "next step" in allowing the key messages to be communicated to our senior leadership team. I will be using it to force those conversations that need to take place - but don't just naturally happen.
