You don’t need the same Microphone as Taylor Swift to write and record your first song. Even the simplest one will do. You’ll get better if you stick with it.

You don’t need a $9,000 computer to program your first website. There are free tools online you can use right now. Just start experimenting. You’ll get better if you stick with it.

You don’t need a branding agency to create the perfect logo for your business before you can talk to your first potential customer. That can come later. Entrepreneurs just get started. You’ll get better if you stick with it.

Often we say we will begin our next creative project once we have the right tools for the job. But usually that is just a form of procrastination, of us telling ourselves we are not ready and need to do something else before we can start.

That is just fear.

There are plenty of examples of people who spent more time researching and comparing which piano keyboard to buy than they ever used it. Sometimes they never even open the box once it arrives.

The hardest part is just getting started. Wherever you are now.

So just get started.
